Our Financial Planning Services - What We Do For You

First a few very important aspects about how we operate: 1. You do NOT need to buy ANY financial products from us to be a financial planning client. 2. The fees for our financial planning services are negotiable. We do NOT charge for our time on an hourly basis. You can call as much as you like. We meet as often as is required to ensure all the work is done, done right, and kept up to date. 4. We CAN work with your CPA, Attorneys or other professionals at your request. So, what will we do for you? We will help you organize your money today, crystalize your thoughts about tomorrow, and write them down as tangible, measurable, and achievable goals. We will assess risks and help you make informed financial decisions to increase the probability of achieving your goals, on time, for reasons that are important to you. Some specific deliverables that we provide in conjunction with our financial planning services can include :
- Assist you in articulating to yourself, and your spouse or partner if applicable, the details of your personal financial goals including the dates for their completion along with the values upon which they are based.
- Help you generate a snapshot of your current financial reality.
- Provide tools and services to help you reduce the volume of paperwork, statements, reports and forms associated with maintaining your financial plan and to better understand the most important information that arrives in your mailbox.
- Assess and evaluate the necessity for, effectiveness of, and affordability of your current insurance portfolio and make recomendations when needed to help improve what you have or keep it up to date with the changes that may occur in the industry or regulatory arena.
- Designate an identifiable reserve fund of cash available to deal with any short term emergencies or sudden unplanned expenses.
- Designate an identifiable and readily available source of funds to pay for near term goals you want to achieve, those within the next 3 years, for "planned expenses" such as funding holidays, vacations, weddings, or making major appliance and vehicle purchases.
- Review your financial plan to identify unexpected potential tax liabilities and refer those situations to a qualified tax professional, with your permission, to analyze and provide a recommended course of action to address them.
- Help you put a disciplined strategy in place to repay your debts and loans in full on a schedule that fits your current spending plan.
- Conduct regular reviews of your of your total investment portfolio and recommend periodic adjustments to help you get on track and stay on track.
- Work with your legal advisors, custodians, and trustees, as needed, to help ensure that your assets are registered in such a way that they are in synch with your estate plan and ensure your beneficiary designations on your accounts are consisitent with the instructions in your legal documents prepared by your properly licensed legal advisors.
